APRIL 2026 NEWSLETTER
Spring has sprung, Relevanters! Although I’ve just had to turn the heating back on in the brand new office, so I can confirm it is still absolutely baltic. Anyway, we’re getting there.
It’s been another busy month here at SRHQ, so let’s rewind to the start where we dropped our O2 documentary on YouTube. We even did a little livestream viewing party so we could all watch it together. The boys and I joined from Sam’s house, where I also had a lovely allergic reaction to Albus and Cedric. Sam, as you can imagine, was extremely sympathetic.
Pete also dipped his toe into his very first Instagram Live. I won’t lie, I think he enjoyed it a bit too much… so I’m eagerly awaiting his return to the platform and expecting him to become a regular on there. Pete becoming a live streamer was not on my 2026 bingo card.

Yes, Helena has a better tan than Sam and he was secretly fuming about it.
March was basically the month of guests. We kicked things off with Helena Ford from Love Island All Stars. Helena first entered the Staying Relevant world when we found an old tweet of hers asking how she could sit on Sam Thompson’s face. For a friend, obviously. Since then she’s been on stage with us at the O2 and now in the studio. She’s come full circle! Pete really tried to keep up while she spilled all the villa drama, contributing some thoughtful points like, “no way”, “tell me more” and “wow”. To be fair, we were all quite impressed with his level of engagement.
We also had the wonderful Alan Carr pop in, who told us all about his traitorous ways, casually mentioned he’s bought a castle, and did a very accurate impression of Sam (my personal highlight.) We may or may not have also pranked him with a fake, slightly weird pre-record ritual… which he joined in with no questions asked. This is why we love you Alan.

the face of someone fighting for his life … awkward
Speaking of pranks, I was very pleased with one we pulled on the boys this month. We convinced them they were giving a university careers talk at Royal Holloway, only to hit them with a slideshow that ROYALLY mugged them off. Pardon the pun. Sam’s bumhole may or may not have made an appearance on a lecture theatre screen. Higher Education at its finest.
Back to guests, we welcomed Pete’s spirit animal Grime Gran! Honestly, the two of them put the world to rights. I left that record thinking life would be better if we were all a bit more like Grime Gran. I also left reminding myself not to try the M&S pistachio Big Daddy Easter egg. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Grime Gran is a bigger east end icon than Pete pass it on…
Over in He Said, She Said world, we celebrated Louise’s birthday, which is actually quite hard when the person doesn’t like birthdays. But I think we got away with it. Sam and Louise’s dad also made an appearance and let’s just say I learnt a lot about where Sam gets it from. What an icon. Also important information, he is not a BuzzBall fan, so if you were ever considering knocking back a choc tease with Mike Thompson, don’t bother.
And finally Relevanters, we are all settled into our gorgeous new office. Don’t worry, a moving vlog is coming soon. Sam and I are still sharing a desk, but it’s actually fine because he doesn’t have a laptop… or any work equipment really, so I’m finding it pretty spacious.
The only thing causing me stress is this bloody bonsai tree, but thanks to your advice in the broadcast channel she’s doing a bit better, so thank you.
I also went to a pub quiz with Pete this month, his first ever pub quiz! We didn’t win, or even come in the top three, but there were loads of nice dogs in the pub so, who’s the real winner? Shockingly, Pete bought all my friends multiple rounds of tequila shots on a Wednesday night, and I woke up to multiple messages asking how I survive work nights out - which made me feel hard as nails.
Sam and I also went on our first run together last weekend and somehow I ended up with his car keys… don’t ask. It was a bit terrifying, and I did have a mild fear he might stick a leg out and send me flying, but thankfully I survived to tell the tale. At this point I’ve already collected a fair few injuries, so what’s one more? The half marathon is creeping up fast and I’m honestly bricking it - but it’s all for Florrie and Bemorefab, you can check out the amazing work they do here: https://bemorefab.co.uk/
Any takers?? Will exchange you for a new bonsai tree
And just like that, another month is done. I thought we were heading into spring but this week’s hail has other ideas. Also not sure why I turn into a weather presenter in these newsletters, but here we are. I’ve bought my first pair of loafers and would quite like to wear them in weather that isn’t attacking me, so fingers crossed for April. They’re burgundy.
PS: Pete says I need to get some cashmere dress socks because apparently I’ve been wearing mine all wrong. Awkward.
A Final Note
PETE’S RANT OF THE WEEK
“Pub quizzes are organised fun. Just grow up and go to the pub.”
A Final Final Note
SAM’S MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGE
“I’m faster than Pippa at running.”
Love ya and thanks for sticking with us!!
Over and out,
Producer Pippa xxxxx
