MARCH 2026 NEWSLETTER

Welcome to your second SR newsletter! To be totally honest with you, I nearly forgot about it… but here’s hoping I settle into the habit over the coming months.
Somehow we are already in March, which means it’s time for a little look back at February. This month we moved into our brand new SR Productions office - we finally got desks and spinny chairs. Sam has thoroughly tested the “spinniness” (purely for quality control purposes, of course), and we’re pleased to confirm that they are, in fact, very spinny.
Sam and I have started using our “twosome desk,” and it’s going exactly as everyone imagined. So far, he’s sat at it twice - neither time with a laptop, or anything for that matter - but we had a great time nonetheless. Big news on the desk front: Pete upgraded from a regular desk to an L-shaped one to ensure he’s “fully closed off” from everyone. He seems very happy with his new level of isolation. Rodney is slowly building up his corner and has so far acquired a bed and a water bowl. Big moves from the Rod man.

I know what you’re thinking…catfish
A small exclusive for the newsletter community - our bonsai tree arrived! It’s slightly smaller than we expected, but who really checks the measurements on these things? Clearly not me and Sam. We had a bit of a debate over names, but we (Sam) settled on Felicity - “Flick” for short. I know what you’re all thinking. An obvious choice for a bonsai tree.
I’m very much looking forward to being her sole carer, despite Sam and I agreeing to joint custody. You’ll be pleased to hear I wasn’t born yesterday.
Speaking of Sam - he had vocal cord surgery this month, which meant Pete enjoyed a quiet week. I believe the phrase “pure bliss” was used more than once. During Sam’s recovery, we enjoyed a few silent FaceTimes (which are exactly as awkward as they sound), and he sent me WhatsApps saying “hello” in every language he knows. So all in all, he handled the solitude very well.

The face of someone that wishes she hadn’t agreed to a double desk…
The lovely Giovanna Fletcher stepped in to co-host with Pete, and we heard all about their treks for CoppaFeel!, as well as why Pete decided to climb Mont Blanc… in jeans. Bold. Giovanna’s husband, Tom (of McFly fame), also wrote what is objectively the BEST musical known to man - Paddington! (Yes, that is the only valid opinion around here.) I definitely kept my cool and absolutely did not ask how I could meet Paddington. Still waiting on that invite, weirdly. I’ll check my junk mail after this. Speaking of which, I assume that’s exactly where this newsletter is landing for most of you.
Then another member of the SR family popped in for a bonus episode - Jowita! The gang were finally back together, and Pete even busted a few moves to celebrate. Note how I said “moves” and not “dancing.”
(By the way if you have read this far, keep reading for a cheeky surprise at the bottom!!!!)
Yes… Rodney is bigger than Jowita
Yet ANOTHER exclusive coming in hot… the team and I pranked the boys this month, and it might be some of our best work yet. It’s coming to a YouTube channel near you very, very soon, so keep your eyes peeled. But amidst all the dancing and pranks, we are in fact a very serious business - because we now officially have our own SR Productions Instagram page! Don’t be shy. Give us a follow @stayingrelevantproductions
You might also have heard that last year we did the O2. Not sure if we’ve mentioned it? Anyway, we only went and made a bloomin’ documentary about it. We hosted a little industry screening (honestly, who do we think we are?) and spent a small fortune branding absolutely everything with the boys’ faces - matches, popcorn, even water. Branded water! But the most exciting part? The documentary is now out for all of you to watch, because you’re the whole reason we made it in the first place. We’ve got to take the SR family along for the ride.
I’ll save the rest of the O2 documentary chat for March’s round-up… let’s just say launch night may or may not have involved an allergic reaction and an Instagram Live.
I hope you all had the best month ever - and it’s finally getting SUNNY. The days are getting lighter, team. We’re nearly there.
Sums us up… pure chaos really
A Final Note
PETE’S RANT OF THE WEEK
“Just because February has a day solely dedicated to pancakes, doesn’t mean it’s any better than January.
I still love Rodney”
A Final Final Note
SAM’S MOTIVATIONAL MESSAGE
“If you DO get a bonsai, make sure you call it Felicity. Flick for short”
Right. I really need to stop treating this like my personal diary. I am absolutely that friend who sends 10 minute voice notes no one asked for. I’ll stop now.
Love you all so much.
Over and out,
Producer Pippa xxxxx
